Snow Day

Carson didn't have preschool for two days this week due to snow. It took about 30 minutes to get them bundled up in hats, gloves, socks, coats, etc....and they spent about 15 minutes in the back yard before they were ready to come in for some hot chocolate and watch Polar Express.

Pettingills have a blog!

Here is our little family. Carson is almost 5 and Addison just turned two. We had a great Thanksgiving with all of Trevor's family, and we are really enjoying getting ready for Christmas. The annual Christmas tree hunt is on for this weekend! The weather has been cold and snowy (but we'll take whatever little snow we can accumulate up here as it doesn't happen that often!). Anyway, we'll post more I can be a part of the blog crowd!

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
