A little update

Here are a few pictures from the last couple weeks. Things have definitely settled down a bit now that tax season is over. We enjoyed my mom for a week (she was a major help on the last day of tax season!) and Trevor's mom is coming to visit this weekend. With my mom's help we tackled my bedroom and finally got it painted. Now, I am working on the master bathroom. These rooms are the last ones to be done in our house.....I should have done them first! It is so nice to retreat to a clean room with no toys to trip over, no fingerprints, no kids allowed :-) Trevor has been busy the last few weekends with a Scout fundraiser. His calling as Scoutmaster has been extremely time consuming lately. He is getting comfortable with the boys now and enjoying it (I hope!). My calling at church changed after 2.5 years. They moved me from the secretary in the Primary to a counselor. I am excited for the change, it will be much different, but I still have an idea of what is going on. Of course, I already have Sharing Time on Mother's Day...any ideas are welcome! Carson is getting ready for the "Mother's Tea" at school in another week. He comes home from Preschool singing all kinds of new songs. He finished up indoor soccer and really improved over last year. I am hoping to get him in T-ball this summer. Addy started a gym class one day a week. She loves to be able to run around and play for a whole hour. It is a parent/child she has me worn out by the end. Anyway, can't believe it is May tomorrow...the summer is gearing up already...can't wait.

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
