Halloween Night included fun at the ward carnival, homemade chili, warm bread, apple cider, candy (of course!), lit pumpkins, spiderwebs on the porch, trick or treating, warm weather (no rain!), movies, and three cute kids! The excitement level for Halloween challenges Christmas around here. It is amazing how a huge bag of candy can transform a kid. And, I mean huge (check out the last picture). At 2 pieces/day .... it is going to last forever. My friend said they buy their kids' Halloween candy. I wonder if that would work?...I mean, I think my kids would use the $$ to go buy more candy! My 'present' to them on Halloween was brand new toothbrushes and their own tubes of toothpaste! We'll need it around here.

So freaking cute! Shell! Guess what! I am back on the same continent as you and want to see you! Only on the west coast for 3 weeks, but would love to at least come for a few hours to give you a big hug, meet the sweetest new addition to your home, and hear about the latest. You are awesome!
Love, Car

You have cute kids! I love Carson and Addy's costume. I am so glad that Evee isn't old enough to collect Halloween candy like that because I know I would be the one eating it.

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
