Pumpkin Patchin' it!

Love the fall colors, the beautiful weather, and our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! We have been traveling to this cute farm for about 5 years. Each year the owners seem to add something new. We even braved the corn maze this year. Luckily, Trev is an excellent maze navigator and got us to all the 'check-points' with very few wrong turns (lets just say if I was in charge, we would have been there for hours). I was surprised to find out the entire maze was 2.1 miles long...kind of a long trek with 3 little kids, but they loved it. Between the pony rides, rubber ducky races, animals, corn maze, and (of course!) picking out 109 pounds of pumpkins...we stayed about 3 hours (and spent $$$....well, it's all about the experience, right?!!). If the weather has to turn cool, at least we have fun holidays to enjoy with our kiddos! Here are some fun pics from our day...and yeah, I have no filter...I must post a zillion pictures. Sorry.

I'm glad you posted a zillion photos, you guys look like you had so much fun. I'm in search of a pumpkin farm experience but I have talked with lots of people and none of them know of a farm here in Germany that does that. I should open one up, you really do make lots of money off parents out making memories:)

Love the pics! I am the same way...just can't pic out a few, too difficult. Looks like you guys had so much fun. I love Ry's leather jacket--he is so cool! We're not getting ours till next weekend and it will be mighty chilly here in Chicago!

So fun. We love going to Spooner Farms too. Great day to go. Not too much rain and mud. I can't believe how big Rylan is getting. So cute.

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
