Our little Addy sang a song at the ward talent show this weekend. She was really excited because a stage was involved (I think from her dance recital), so we signed her up to sing one of her favorite primary church songs. We practiced a couple times, mostly UNsuccessfully, so I wasn't sure if she would be able to focus and keep singing the whole time. And with me at the piano and Trev with the video, we weren't in the background encouraging her on...but she did it! Despite all the crazy, wild behavior she brings into our home...this sweet side shows its face once in awhile, and I want to bottle it up and save it forever.

Is Spring coming?
As winter still lingers on (..hello?! snow on my birthday!), and we endure the long stretch between Christmas and Spring break....we are grateful for a few things:
He is still working like crazy trying to make the business work (and we are seeing some success now ...yes!!!). Even though he has been tired and sick, he is always eager to grab all three kids and read stories in the evening.
1. Snuggle time with Dad.

2. Surprise packages from Grandma!
My mom is always spoiling us with fun packages. She was mailing some things we left in Utah, but managed to stick in treasures for all of us...what a treat ... and makes an otherwise normal day a lot more exciting. Thanks mom! We love you!
We just booked our tickets for the B-I-G family reunion on my mom's side of the family in the Outer Banks, North Carolina for the second week of June. Let's just say: beach house, pool, beach, family, food, did I say beach?

You are my sunshine!
The sunlight was pouring in the windows today so I threw the to-do list away and grabbed the camera because guess who is a half year old this week? Yep, SIX WHOLE MONTHS. We are having so much fun with Ry. We L-O-V-E having a baby in the house. Sure there are late nights, spit up, crying, diapers ... but there is the also the sweet joy of a baby that just can't be beat! I love it when he coos and makes the sweetest talking sounds. I love that he has found his toes. I love how Trevor can get him to giggle endlessly. I love that he KNOWS us. Trevor and I took him out with us on Saturday night and left the other two kids with a babysitter. It felt so EASY to just have one kid in tow and one who gladly goes where ever we want and was full of giggles and smiles. I absolutely love this stage and love this smile (and these cheeks and those dimples and those eyes and that baby skin....)!
