{Our Nephew's Baptism}

It's one of the great perks of living so close to family....getting to be a part of special events for our nieces and nephews!  Ty was baptized in Vancouver in early July, and we couldn't be happier that we were able to attend.  We made a weekend out of it and had the best time (although the only time I pulled out my camera was at the baptism!)  Here is the Dalley group...what a crew of support!

He was one prepared boy looking so sharp in his suit and all in white. The cousins were all so excited and happy for him and all preformed a musical number during the service.  They did great! It was such a special moment to hear these sweet primary age kids, all cousins, sing about baptism.  So blessed to share our beliefs with the most important people in our lives.  Ty provided a great example to his younger cousins!!  More about this special ordinance here.

Even though Ty is much closer in age to Addy, he is Carson's 'go-to' cousin.  They are sure good friends.  I'm so glad they have each other!
 We had a yummy lunch at the Goodwin home following the service.  Beautiful yard and sunshine made for a perfect celebration day!

Congratulations Ty! We are so proud of you and the choices you are making! It sure is shaping you into a wonderful young man!!

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
