{September 2013 Round-Up}

Just a few pics from September (always one of our busiest months of the year!)

Trevor and I went up to Seattle for a fancy dinner at Palisade for our 15 year anniversary.

Trevor did a road trip with a bunch of guys from our ward/stake to attend a BYU football game and cram in 2 days of golfing.  Pretty much heaven. He had a blast.

My parents came for a visit and we soaked up every second!  Carson had just began cello lessons and my mom was a huge help (major accomplished violin player is one of her MANY talents).

She also taught me how to can peaches.  My first time canning.  Ever.  Not as intimidating as I thought!  So happy to have bottles of peaches for the winter!

 We crammed in a Mariners game. We hit two this year and love it each time. The atmosphere at Safeco field is awesome. The kids absolutely love all the ball park treats.

We love when G&G come to visit! We feel so spoiled when they are here. They do such a great job at making each of the kids feel special and loved.    We miss them so much when we are apart!

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion pictures...it is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
