{November Happenings}

Activity Day Recognition Night
  Addison loves Activity Days and they have SUCH a great group of girls and leaders. The prepared 3 line dances for the recognition night and it was so fun to watch.

Loving helping with art projects in Kindergarten!  With Miles in preschool 3 days a week...it's been so easy to help out once a week in Rylan's class.  I love it!

Back to the Future spirit day at school.
Addison went as Sandy from Grease (no, she hasn't seen the movie).

And Ry as Marty McFly!
Lookin' soooo cool!

The weather and weekends were looking daunting and scheduled, so for the first time, we put up Christmas lights BEFORE Thanksgiving. Paid off big time, because timing wouldn't have worked out later. Kudos to the husband for doing a lot of this work in the dark! I love having lights on the house during the holidays and the season is just much too short already!

 My mom sent this adorable 25 countdown for the kids with treats and trinkets and games and toys tucked away in each little bag.  This totally made for a FUN December.  Grandma of the year award!

We also put up the artificial tree before Thanksgiving too. I know, kind of a violation, but I'm just so anxious for Christmas each year we couldn't help it!!

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion pictures...it is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
