{January Happenings}

 January isn't my favorite month.  Back to school after a fun Christmas break and a lot on the to do list.  And not to mention cold, rainy weather.  But we did have some rays of sunshine in our month including:

This kiddo's first day as Sunbeam at church!

We left up our Christmas cards for two more seeing all these smiling faces for a little while longer.

We had our 20 week ultrasound and all looked well with the baby and we got our second peak at the gender to solidify that "It's a Girl"!  We made the big announcement to friends at that point too.

Naps and snuggle time with this guy.

Addison had a small solo in her school choir concert. She had to audition for the part and got it! She was very nervous but did an awesome job!!

Jump Zone fun for cousin, Graham's birthday.

 Beginning stages of upstairs remodel to make room for baby #5!

MAJOR Seahawks fanfare.  The Seahawks had another amazing season as they headed to the Superbowl for the second year in a row.  I love how the community, schools, and businesses all rally around the team.

The kids' elementary school took this photo with all the kids in their Seahawks gear too. We are the 12s!

We aren't huge professional football fans, but you'd think my kids were going to die if they didn't have their very own Seahawks shirts to wear to school.  So we just HAD to get some.

And finally this Kindergartner got the "Leader of the Pack" award in the school assembly. He is thriving in Kindergarten and absolutely loves it!!

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
