Ivy's blessing day was on June 14th. She was three weeks old.
We decided just one week before to hold it that day. Looking at the summer ahead and realizing that fourth of July was on the horizon, our trip to Utah, and many summer weekend plans...we jumped at the chance to hold the blessing while my mom was still in town. And once we found out that my dad could fly up and Trevor's mom could drive over, plus all my siblings minus one could amazingly make it work...it just came all together so perfectly!
It was a scramble to get a dress in just a few days. I found this gorgeous silk dress at a boutique shop in Sumner. Exactly what I was looking for. Classic and simple.
I got up extra early so that we had plenty of time to dress her and not feel rushed.
A couple short videos as we were getting her dressed (filmed by kids, obviously).
She is so sweet!
The big group at the church. So grateful for friends and family that came to be with us!
Trevor did a great job with the blessing. Deeply touching and sweet. We also both bore out testimonies that day. Full of spiritual joy for my sweet family and all our blessings from a loving Heavenly Father.

My mom made Ivy's headband and these adorable barefoot sandals.
Salad, fruit, sandwiches ... perfect lunch back at home on the absolutely gorgeous spring day!
Loved being able to use our deck (so iffy in June with the weather). The sun was shining and it was so warm! We had an Italian Soda Bar outside...the kids loved that.
Ivy got passed around all afternoon.
And we stayed like this for hours! We could all sit and talk forever. Such a wonderful afternoon together with family for our sweet little guest of honor.
Can't thank my sisters and mom enough for helping pull it all together!
