Week 1 in PV

Due to Carson's scout camp at the end of July, we were in Pine Valley earlier than my siblings. An entire week with the place all to ourselves!  We made a list of things to do and had a great time relaxing and adventuring in my parents' cute town.  My mom is always such a great host!
Grandpa taking the kids on a walk around the property to show them the new fence.

Ivy got to meet Great Grandma Snow for the first time!  How sweet!
Miles totally sacked out on Grandma Snow's porch.  Aw... the lazy days of summer!

Plenty of ATV riding. Carson is a pro at the T-Rex now.

And Addison passed her online ATV course certification this year! (Totally grueling course that takes hours and hours!)

I took the kids on one ATV over a long trail at sunset.

Grandpa paid these 2 to load branches onto the flatbed trailer.

One of our many trips to the Veyo pool to cool off!

We hiked around Pine Valley reservoir.

And got ice cream at the little (and only) shop in Pine Valley.

A trip into St. George for a little shopping (me) while Grandma entertained the kids on the carousel and the water park.

We love Hokulia in St. George!

We spent time cooking with Grandma..including this failed attempt at cake pops.  Hysterical!

And a practice run at donuts for the baby shower coming up.  My mom rocked these out....so good!

We also checked out the Red Cliffs in St. George.  Been to St. George how many times and never stopped here?  Well, maybe because it's always over 100 degrees in Utah.  So hot!  But we had a great time exploring around these awesome cliffs/rocks.

A fun week...with another one to come! We couldn't wait for the Dalley crew to arrive!

Why I {Blog}

My little blog is a family journal. I include things on here I want to remember years and years from now. So when I post a zillion pictures...it is because I want to have it for my posterity. So please forgive the often posted-picture overload.

Currently I am trying to focus on my photography skills...reading, reading, reading, and taking pictures when I can. Then edit, read, read, read some more. I finally feel like I have a basic understanding of exposure...hooray! I updated my blog template so I can display larger photos because...aren't pictures better than anything I have to say anyway?

More about me here.
